MTL Artists

Founded in 2020 by friends and creative partners Joelle Said and Patricia Chiniara, Mtla Studio began as a passion project rooted in a shared love for art and business.

We wanted to bring art into everyday spaces, as murals, paintings or art prints.

Why do we create art?

As a way to connect with people, share the beauty of the world, and the colour-combinations that make us happy.

Where do we get inspiration from?


A lot of it comes from our travel pictures, from days spent walking around. A lot of it also comes from the love of our city, Montreal. Its cafés, events, cool people, local markets.

What kind of art do we create?

We create both traditional and digital works, art print collections, limited editions, and original paintings. Beyond our collections, we provide custom art services for individuals and brands looking for something uniquely theirs.

    Lover of colours, coffee, and design projects.

    It all started with Patricia and I creating custom designs for people in our close network, and we found that we loved to bring designs into their lives and businesses.

    My love for art started young, doodles that turned into drawings and paintings.

    After graduating high school with Joelle, we both put in effort to improve as artists, and we constantly pushed ourselves to be better in our work. Today, we are partners in this business hoping to create art and spread creativity through our whole city and beyond.
